The modular clusters out in Fenwick Basin were thrown up fast during the nitrogen rush and nobody ever got around to replacing them, so people just keep patching the seals and painting the hatches and calling it home. On a clear night the glow from the porthole windows is the only warm thing for forty kilometers in any direction.
