The tape heads on a Nakamura RX-7 never quite wear out if you treat them right, and most people in Kessler Mid-Ring have had years to learn. The VU meters glow amber-green through a double shift the same as they did the day the unit shipped from whatever factory floor it came from, three or four decades back.
